Museum Murals | Leeuwarden, Netherlands | 2024

The mural in Leeuwarden was created as part of the Museum Murals project, an initiative of Mauritshuis, in collaboration with Fries Museum and with the support of Writer’s Block – street art organisation

The mural was inspired by embroidery on a 19th-century costume from the museum’s collection. Thank you to Peter Ernst Coolen from Street Art Today for the invitation, Irene Kromhout from the museum for consultation, Serge Hollander and Siegriet de Vries from Writers Block for their care and help in producing the mural, and all the wonderful people I met in Leeuwarden. Special thanks to  NHL Stenden University for providing the wall and hosting at the Notiz hotel.
