Graffiti
Every piece of graffiti I create features a lace pattern, often inspired by antique lace designs or illustrations from old books sourced from various countries.
I meticulously cut out these stencils by hand and then paint them repeatedly on the streets. In the graffiti community, this method of widespread dissemination is known as “Bombing.” Each year, I develop several new patterns and continue using them in public spaces until the stencils deteriorate.
Additionally, I transfer these stenciled graffiti onto canvases, which I consider an “archive” of my street works. These canvases are documented in the “Illegals” catalog.
