My new mural for the “He(ART)4all” festival in Laon, France, is finished.
The wall was unusual because I painted on the windows of an old cable car station (Poma2000).
For the mural design, I drew inspiration from a very old piece of lace dating back to the 18th century. Though frayed at the edges with the passage of time, it still carries a remarkable beauty. The lace was entirely handmade using the traditional bobbin technique, making it not only a work of craftsmanship but also a fragment of cultural history.
I would like to thank the wonderful Valerie for inviting me to this project. Thank you very much for the care and help of Nathalie Marie, Vanessa and Aline. Thanks to the mayor of the city Eric Delhaye for providing such an unusual place to paint!
