Sterntaler is a fairy tale of the Grimm brothers, published in 1815. It is a story about a small girl, an orphan, who – despite her poverty – would share anything she had with other people. When she had given away everything, golden coins started to fall into her apron from the sky.
Although the Grimm brothers’ story is set in a totally different religious tradition, it conveys a message about the fundamental law of karma, the law of cause and effect. When you give, you will receive.
